Project Description:

The Floor is LA-VR is a short physics simulated exploration game. Where the player has to explore through a industrial facility that is based inside an active volcano.

This is a small project I made to learn the development process for Virtual Reality. Which was shown at an event held at Staffordshire University called Gradex.

Project Features:

  • Push/Pull gliding locomotion method
  • Climbing mechanics with light puzzle gameplay
  • Intuitive equipment swapping interactions
  • Physically simulated objects and environments
  • Simple narrative told through level design and discoverable notes left by characters
