Project Description:

The Mountainside is a dungeon crawler game project where the player slowly ascends a mountain. all the while engaging in quests, acquiring loot to improve the abilities of the player and killing different types of enemies with attack patterns while uncovering the story associated with the mountain.

The aim of this project was to develop my Level Design skills and explore how ARPG’s are made. The Mountainside features quests, dynamic random loot, inventory systems, story telling through NPC’s and quests. This was heavily inspired by Torchlight 2 and other top down ARPG games.
