Project Description:

Runaissance was my first collaborative project at university. During this project I learnt alot of systems and how to script using blueprint to create some of the gameplay shown in the video above.

Runaissance is a sidescroller multiplayer platformer game based in the renaissance era. The objective is to reach the end of the level first. If they were to fall or get knocked out, they would be out until the next round/game.

Project Features:

  • Interactive environment objects such as bouncy pads or ziplines to traverse areas
  • Constantly decreasing timer to force players to race to the end
  • Player amount selection, can play solo or up to 4 players locally.
  • Gamepad controls
